Customers can customize any of the large number of plans featured in the Cornerstone plan books to accommodate their own unique lifestyle needs. If you already have a home plan fully designed, or even a sketch or a conceptual idea, our experienced design and building experts can work with you to create your own beautiful home.

Our construction specifications are designed to give the best possible structural result. We do not work to minimum guidelines like some of our competitors. For example we use a 2x6 framing system on 16" centers. By contrast many builders work on a 24" centre framing system to save on framing lumber. Another example is our use of oversized matching glu-lam beams in vaulted areas. This is not only stronger, it gives a better appearance value. In our opinion a quality home should look like it and be built to high quality structural specifications.

Your ideas are incorporated into a set of preliminary drawings that show exterior elevations of the house from all four sides, detailed floor plans and product specifications. Any changes requested will be incorporated into these plans by our drafting and design team. When you are satisfied with these drawings, detailed blueprints will be produced.

Cornerstone plans ensure full compliance with Uniform/National Building Code specifications and are modified as required to meet local building and engineering guidelines.
